Drivers Jockey for Position Matco Tools Pro Mod Clash At E-Town |
ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. (June 18, 2009) - With six races completed and three remaining in the Get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge presented by ProCare Rx to qualify for the $35,000 Matco Tools Pro Mod Clash, the field is quickly defining itself.
Beginning at the NHRA Gatornationals in March, drivers have earned points for the "race-within-a-race" which pits the top Pro Mods against each other with the chance to race for a $25,000 top prize when the Clash is contested Oct. 29 - Nov. 1 at the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals.

Quarterfinal finish for Tindle at Englishtown |
ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. - Pro Mod racer Tim Tindle was ousted during the second round of elminations at 40th annual United Association NHRA SuperNationals in Englishtown, NJ. Tindle's 5.996, 233.28 pass was not enough to take down Danny Rowe in the Get Screened America Promod Challenge, presented by ProCare RX.

 ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. (June 15, 2009) - Sunday was a day R2B2 Racing driver Raymond Commisso will never forget. The Toronto native qualified number one in the Get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge presented by ProCare Rx at the UA NHRA SuperNationals, set the world record for quickest-ever Pro Mod ET at 5.856 seconds, and ultimately won the event in the quickest-ever side-by-side race.

Tommy Gray Makes Fives Look Easy in E-Town |

ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. - The Graveyard Gang made the five second zone look easy at Englishtown, during the Get Screened America Pro Mod challenge. Rolling right out of the trailer The Undertaker Team started turning heads as they have been in the last four or five weeks. Being the first Pro Mod down the track they set the bar high with a 5.98 second run, before following it up in the second round of qualifying with a 5.93 second run. The crew was excited to set a NHRA new record of a 5.88 in the first round of eliminations in the second round of eliminations the Undertaker took the win with a 5.91. The semi-final saw the race everyone had been anticipating. Tommy Gray and The Undertaker up against Raymond Commiso, the 2 fastest cars of the weekend.

ROWE TAKES RUNNER-UP HONORS AT E-TOWN IN QUICKEST SIDE-BY-SIDE RUN IN HISTORY
(6-15-2009) ENGLISHTOWN, New Jersey - The history of Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey is littered with personal bests, first-ever moments and various monumental moments in the sport of drag racing, but this past weekend the veteran Pro Modified pilot Danny Rowe used the facility to etch a new line in his collective racing past with a stunning 5.899-second, 243.94mph in the final round against Ontario, Canada's own Raymond Commisso, who posted the NHRA Pro Mod Challenge National E.T. record in his winning effort of 5.856/245.58mph.

Commisso takes his first win in record-setting performance at E-Town |
ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. (June 14, 2009) - The day started with the looming question of whether or not there would be any racing at all in the Get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge because of heavy clouds and intermittent sprinkles of rain at the United Association NHRA SuperNationals, but after a delay of nearly an hour to dry the racing surface and start racing, the sun burned off the fog and the track conditions at Raceway Park ripened to a day that crew chiefs and drivers only dream of. It will long be remembered as one of the best days ever in Pro Modified competition.
Records fell nearly every lap down the track, and just when you thought it couldn't get any better or quicker, it did. In the end, R2B2 Racing driver Raymond Commisso came out on the very top - qualifying number one, setting the world record for quickest-ever Pro Mod ET at 5.856 seconds, and ultimately winning the event in the quickest-ever side-by-side race.

 ENGLISHTOWN, NJ (June 13, 2009) - R2B2 Racing Raymond Commisso too the No. 1 qualifying spot in the Get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge at the United Association NHRA SuperNationals, delivering a mind-blowing 5.894 at 244.60 mph while his teammates Roger Burgess and Melanie Troxel both improved on their Friday qualifying numbers, ending up No's 6 and 10 respectively.
