ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. - The Graveyard Gang made the five second zone look easy at Englishtown, during the Get Screened America Pro Mod challenge. Rolling right out of the trailer The Undertaker Team started turning heads as they have been in the last four or five weeks. Being the first Pro Mod down the track they set the bar high with a 5.98 second run, before following it up in the second round of qualifying with a 5.93 second run. The crew was excited to set a NHRA new record of a 5.88 in the first round of eliminations in the second round of eliminations the Undertaker took the win with a 5.91. The semi-final saw the race everyone had been anticipating. Tommy Gray and The Undertaker up against Raymond Commiso, the 2 fastest cars of the weekend.

As the two cars staged the lights turned green it all ended quick with the Undertaker car having a slight starting line advantage before the Undertakers Grim Reaper appeared and showed the car death for the night. In a phone interview after the race  "I dropped the clutch and I knew we broke a lifter, I wanted to give Raymond a record run, but it wasn't meant to be the disappointment was heavy as Raymond was able to take away the national record." Gray said.

I am pleased with our performance, and the good part is that I think I set a new record of holding the Pro Mod record for the shortest time ever. Also on the good side is that in the conditions as they were I have no doubts our JanCen horsepower and our Vanishing Point Camaro definitely have the capabilities of running a 5.84 to a 5.86 and we we will be trying next time".

Tommy also wanted to congratulate Raymond and his team for the win and the record and give a big thanks to Richard Dixon for supporting the team. Tommy also wanted to acknowledge his crew (Chick, Richie, Dale, Roger, Billy, and George) they all take care of the car and call the shots as a team. Tommy said "Our team has all been involved with racing since we were in high school together and with our Mike Janis power we will keep improving as the season goes on."
