"We're right there," said Rowe, as he arrived back in Laguna Beach, California, where he resides. "We thought we might have something for Raymond [Commisso] there in the final, but we came up a little bit short. We did, though, make our best ever run in competition with the 5.899 in the final, and that does a lot for easing the pain." "I just can't say enough about this incredible team," started Rowe. "Jimmy [Rector, crew chief] gave me one bad hot rod this weekend and we're happy with our performance. This puts us just four rounds out of first place, and considering where we were going into this, if we run well in Indy, we've got a great shot at the championship. We've got a lot of exciting things going on including a new car from Tim McAmis Race Cars that we take delivery of soon, a new engine program and a couple sponsorship programs that could come together very soon. Overall, we would have loved to win the quickest side-by-side Pro Mod race in history, but I'm pretty satisfied having been in it." Rowe comes out of the NHRA SuperNationals third in the Get Screened America NHRA Pro Mod Challenge points standings, just 66 points out of the lead. The next stop on the GSA Pro Mod Challenge schedule will be the historic Mac Tools U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana.
