| Tindle Prepares for Crunch Time at Indy; John Force Car Show Thursday |
INDIANAPOLIS (September 3, 2009)-- With this weekend's NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis and only three more races remaining, Tim Tindle knows that it is time for he and the Tindle Racing Team's GT500 Mustang to be at peak performance. "It's crunch time, baby, and this Tindle Racing team is ready. Overall, this has been a good season, but business is unfinished. Our goal and plan is to improve our position in the points by winning one round at a time. The rest (win) will take care of itself if we make consistent-fast laps down the race track. This Stott tuned Ford Mustang is ready for "Crunch Time." Yes, I'm like everyone else at Indy; I want to win." "Unfortunately, my son, T.J., will not be joining us this weekend due to an Outlaw 330 Jr. Dragster event in Gleason, TN. Our team wishes him the best. I'm hoping that we can both take victories back home," Tindle added. Heavy hearted Tindle heads into the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals seventh in points in the Get Screened America Promod Challenge, presented by ProCare Rx. With a full field of cars (24) attempting to qualify for the 16-car field, Tindle realizes that the task at hand will not be an easy one, but feels confident that he has the team and equipment to make it happen. "I can't help but to think of Steve Engle heading into this race. Steve has been missed and he will be heavy on our hearts all weekend. I know that Steve's presence will be at Indianapolis Raceway Park." On Thursday, the Tindle Racing GT 500 Mustang will be displayed at the John Force open house and all Ford car show at John Force Racing's Brownsburg, Indiana based shop and museum. The event will be hosted by the Mustang Club of Indianapolis and will feature incredible vehicles on display and fun for the whole family. The scheduled time for the event is 3pm - 7pm. and it is free to the public. From 5-7 PM on Thursday evening, Tindle will be signing autographs with the other Get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge drivers at Buffalo Wild Wings in Speedway, Ind. Fans are invited and encouraged to join the party for a laid back and enjoyable time before the marathon of the Mac Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals kicks into high gear. Tindle Racing would like to thank Goodyear Racing, NGK Sparkplugs, and Lucas Oil for their continuing support.
