Tindle Hungry To Make It Happen in Carolina
Tindle_CarolinaCONCORD, NC - Tim Tindle knows exactly what he needs to do at the next few Get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge races as the team heads to the NHRA Carolinas Nationals in metro Charlotte, N.C.  Tindle will battle to remain in the eight while trying to advance his position in the points.  The top eight in points will battle for the Matco Tools Pro Mod Clash to be contested in Las Vegas.

"That's what it boils down to.  We have to win rounds if we are going to advance our position," said a determined Tindle.  "We haven't managed to do that for the last few races, but last weekend we were running in Rockingham (NC) and that gave us the opportunity to get a little more testing in and more track time.  We've made some progress, so we're excited to get to the next race and see if we can win enough rounds to move forward.

Tindle will have to fend off the other drivers, those who are in close proximity behind him, and he will also have the opportunity to advance his position over the drivers that are only a few points ahead.

"The plan is to do our best and win the race." Tindle added. "This is a new facility for our team and all teams competing, therefore the playing field should be even.  "We are going to go out and have a good weekend, with winning in mind.  Then reach the finals which will put us in a good position."

"But, we will not worry about the points. If we win rounds, the points will come."

Drivers will also be competing for the B&J Transmissions Bonus, a $500 bounty paid to the winner of a first-round pairing selected at random before the race. Qualifying rounds are scheduled Friday at 2:00 and 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Eliminations begin at 4:30 p.m. and conclude Sunday. Regular updates are available on NHRA.com and DragRaceCentral.com, and daily recaps are available on CompetitionPlus.com and ProModChallenge.com. Brief round-by-round recaps are also broadcast via Twitter by following GSAProMods.
