(03-30-09) BAYTOWN, TX – At a time when Danny Rowe felt all he needed to seal the deal on a win in the ultra competitive Get Screened America NHRA Pro mod Challenge was a little bit of luck, he decided to take matters into his own hands, or feet for that matter, and strap a .015 light on Rick Stivers in the final round of eliminations at Dallas to take home the win. In what many consider the most exciting final round in recent history of Pro Modified drag racing, Danny Rowe used a massive advantage on the starting line to best Rick Stivers’ 5.96/243.66mph pass with his own 6.01 at 244.43mph blast.
